It is a unique program giving people the opportunity to work abroad as an English teacher in China while learning about the culture, studying the Chinese language and also having the opportunity to travel around China.

Teaching English is a sought-after occupation in China and many schools are wanting to employ English Teachers. Teach and Travel China provides you with several distinct advantages. The ELC TEFL certificate is the culmination of rigorous teacher training and experience that will set you on an exciting and new career path. Depending on your education qualifications, you could take your teaching experience in China and work your way around the world.
CCUSA have three program options for Teach and Travel China. A Six Month or Full Year English Teaching position or a Summer Camp for eight weeks teaching English.
The Full-Year and Six Month Programs involve employment as an English language teacher in at least one school in China upon successful completion of the Training & Orientation. The teaching position for one semester (20 weeks) for the Six Month Program, plus a break for school holidays, then another semester (20 weeks again) for the Full Year Program. Opportunities available to travel during school breaks and at end of program. Accommodation and meals during training, orientation and teaching placement are all included with the program. The Full-Year and Six-Month program participants will receive a comprehensive and intensive four-week training and orientation session.
The Summer Camp Program includes guaranteed employment as an English language camp teacher upon successful completion of the training and orientation program. It is an eight-week position with holidays, during which meals and accommodation are supplied and travel opportunities are available. Summer camp positions consists of instruction in conversation and language development and organizing camp activities. The Summer Camp program participants will receive a six-day training and orientation session covering an introduction to English teaching methodology and basic classroom techniques. Participant will receive the English Language Company Introductory Certificate in EFL upon successful completion of training.
The training and orientation sessions have been carefully crafted through collaboration between English language teaching specialists and the schools in China. Sessions will take place in various large cities throughout China such as Shanghai, Huangzhou, Taiyuan, Inner Mongolia, Kunming and Guangzhou.
Training and orientation for all programs includes: airport pick-up upon arrival; welcome dinner, welcome kit, accommodation, meals, Mandarin lessons, access to school facilities for evening recreation and sporting activities, social and cultural activities and a farewell dinner with a graduation and closing ceremony.
